Summer

Reading Program

What is the Summer Reading Program?

The Summer Reading Program is a chance for you to enjoy some of the best services and resources the library has to offer! This summer our theme is Adventure Begins at the Library and we're embracing that by offering adventures both in the library and in the local area!

Why should I participate in the Summer Reading Program?

The Summer Reading Program doesn't just improve and nurture reading in young people. It also improves phonics, reading fluency, spelling comprehension, vocabulary and it inspires people to see themselves as lifelong readers!

How Do I Sign Up for the Reading Program?

We have two ways you can participate!

Beginning June 3, sign up through Beanstack! There are four different Beanstack challenges, one for each age group, so everyone can participate! This year we're encouraging all participants to log their reading progress through Beanstack.

However, we understand that some children prefer the traditional paper version. If this is the case for your child you can download and print PDF provided below!

Note* Prizes will only be distributed through Beanstack. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

A Huge Thank You to our Sponsors!
