Read books, attend programs, and win prizes! This summer everyone who completes their summer reading challenge will earn a prize!

This year we're encouraging all participants to log their reading progress through Beanstack, our online platform. However, if you prefer the traditional paper version, download and print the PDF below!

June 9-15: Aquatic Adventures (Ocean)

June 16-22: Roaming Readers (Travel)

June 23-29: Culinary Chronicles (Food)

June 30-July 6: Imaginary Realms (Fantasy)

July 7-13: Rediscovering Home (Local)

July 14-20: Time-Traveling Tales (History)

July 21-27: Science Safari (Science)

July 28-August 3: Cave Chronicles (Caves)

Repeating Events

Story Time

Mondays at 10:30 am | Ages 3-5 years

Preschoolers and their caregivers can join Miss Tara for a 30-minute storytime with books, songs, rhymes, and other fun activities!

Story Tots

Wednesdays at 10:30 am | Ages 18 months-3 years

Toddlers and their caregivers will enjoy short stories, songs, rhymes, movements, and other fun activities with Miss Tara.

Baby Bounce & Play

Thursdays at 1 pm | Ages 0-2 years

Come enjoy simple songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and other fun activities for babies and caregivers. Afterwards enjoy some activities tied to the weekly theme!

Happy Camper Scavenger Hunt

All summer | All ages

Pick up a scavenger hunt kit in the library and head into nature! Oak leaves, acorns, dandelions and more! Get familiar with the things growing all around you!

StoryWalk at Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy

Weeks of June 16-22, July 14-20, and August 4-10

Combine physical activity with literacy! StoryWalks feature pages of a story book on outdoor signs along a path. As families follow the path, parents and caregivers are invited to read each page aloud to their children. After completing the walk, stop by the children's area in the library before the end of summer reading to pick a small prize!

It is time to celebrate all our great readers (and story listeners) as we close out the 2024 Summer Reading Program. Stop on by for your summer reading button, fun activities for kids and families, and to enjoy an ice-cold treat to beat the summer heat!
